Trifecta-SSD-RM is a Family of COTS, Low-Cost, High-Performance, M.2 NVMe SSD Data Storage Modules for PXIe and 3U CPCIe Systems that features an M.2 NVMe SSD Data Cartridge that is easy-to-remove, replace, and upgrade.
Easy-to-Remove, Replace & Upgrade Data Cartridge
When inserted into the Trifecta-SSD-RM Module, the M.2 NVMe SSD Data Cartridge connects to the PXIe Chassis PCIe backplane via a PCIe G3/G4 x4 interface. Trifecta-SSD-RM Data Cartridges are available in 1, 2, 4, and 8 TB capacities, providing between 2× and 16× the capacity of popular Embedded Controller (EC) SSDs.
High Performance vs. Embedded Controller Drives
When employed in a G3 PXIe x4 or x8 PXIe chassis, Trifecta-SSD-RM can support sequential read/write performance of up to ~3.5 GB/Sec, approximately 7× faster than Embedded Controller (EC) SATA3 drives for both sequential read and write performance, and ~3× faster for sequential write performance than popular Embedded Controller NVMe SSDs.
Software RAID Support for Greater Performance & Redundancy
Unlike Embedded Controller SSDs, Trifecta-SSD-RM supports software RAID via two or more modules, which can easily double or triple the capacity of the data storage subsystem and provide ~6 GB/Sec or faster sequential read/write performance via RAID-0, or enhanced fault-tolerance via RAID-1.

Trifecta-SSD-RM Module pricing starts at $1,999, which includes a 1 TB M.2 NVMe SSD Data Cartridge. Additional 1, 2, 4, or 8 TB Data Cartridges may be purchased separately. Delivery for small quantities is typically ~30 days ARO. Educational and VAR discounts are available. Trifecta-SSD-RM modules are long-life-cycle products designed and assembled in the USA and are BAA/TAA Compliant, available on GSA via GSAMart by TestMart.
